All courses are taught by certified teachers and meet national and state standards. Through HRIA, College Preparatory High School, students have access to a wide range of coursework, flexibility in scheduling, developing capacities as independent learners, and more time to complete their coursework on an online campus. As in face-to-face classes, online classes include certified teacher support, lessons, homework, class discussions, and assessments. The main difference is that the activities occur over the Internet at a time that is convenient for students. HRIA offers the hallmarks of truly effective traditional educational programs, high-quality teachers, high-quality curriculum, and frequent student-teacher interaction except all is conducted online.
Vision & Values
As a virtual school, we strive to provide quality online instruction to high school and middle school students in grades 9 – 12. Core comprehensive high school courses are approved annually by FSBERS and are in line with the Department of Education of New Jersey. We provide Advanced Placement courses, which are CollegeBoard-approved each year and available during our fall and winter terms. FSBERS offers online courses for our students, taught by a highly qualified certified teacher who interacts with the student by providing extra help and encouragement to assist the student in completing the course. The teacher can modify instructional pace levels to accommodate different learners. HRIA is a High school in New Jersey. A Non-public, non-profit agency in the state of New Jersey.
